DV8 rear bumper
Like other reviews the bumper can in wrapping no box no crate no anything that makes me crazy it was for sure drig across the warehouse and from company to company before I received it so scratched up somewhat all good but it had absolutely no instructions no led lights which the add says 4 LED lights and the bolts were not useable I used the bolts off the old bumper to install overall the quality is ok for what I paid in ok didn’t spend big bucks on something I’m going to use and it’s a bumper for a truck trying to keep the bed and back of my truck from some clown hitting it and driving off and not knowing he hit something the stock Ford bumper is junk and flimsy so over install took about 1 hour with two of us making sure it was level and putting the sensors all back in with some small modifications to make it al work just disappointed with two big holes and no led lights like the add says

Looks Good, Difficult to Install
I bought both the front and rear DV8 bumpers for my 2017 Ford F-350 dually. These bumpers look great, but both werr hard to install. In this review, I will speak specifically about the rear bumper. Order processing and delivery: the order shipped the day after I ordered, it can quickly via UPS. Packaging: The bumper is a one piece bumper. It was not in any kind of box or crate, it was just wrapped in layers of thin foam and shrink wrap Due to the weight of the package, it took quite a beating during the shipping process. All of the corner were worn through and rubbed the power coating off. Install: this is the reason for low rating. I am by no means a trained mechanic, but I know my way around a tool box. This install was very difficult. The bumper came with no instructions, zero, not a single printed word. There are no instructions on the DV8 website. The rear bumper came off easily and in the beginning I thought the DV8 would go on just as easily. The problem came when I was trying to get the bumper centered and level. I was not able to the center the bumper so that there was clearance on each side for the tailgate to open it without getting into and top of the bumper. The plates that are welded onto the DV8 bumper that mount to the frame plates were not centered and would bump against the hitch. In the end I used a pry bar to bend the plate just enough to get about 1/16" clearance on the driver side of the tailgate. Overall: as I said, the bumper looks great. I don't know where they are made, but you can tell by looking at some of edges are cut by hand by a guy with a plasma cutter or something. I would like to have seen smoother edges and straighter lines cut by an industrial laser or water jet cutter. I took two stars off for the difficult install process and one star for the poor packaging.

Nice looking bumper
Bumper was pretty straight forward. Took a moment to figure out the bracket placement. But once that was done, it wasn't bad. Definitely more sturdy and heavy than the stock chrome bumper I replaced. Takes 2 people or something to support, lift and hold one side in-place while attaching opposite side. Attached a red/black wire bundle to backup lights and ran up along frame rail following other wires and connected to uplifter switch.

DV8 DIY bumper
took me a full day being I had no equipment and limited tool. if you like DIY and working with no instruction and no customer support as all manuals have been lost, DV8 did have there manual either. this is the bumper for you. all things considered I have no complaints after all is fitted and wired. the lights that come with the kit are missing hardware to mount them . I wanted different ones anyway so no biggie to me I was left over with a lot of extra nuts and bolts also meh … over all I would buy it again its solid and made for a good days work. it is worth noting that you will stronger suspension due to the weight added to the front.

This is a HD winch bumper with excellent quality. The packaging was over the top. Allow 30 minutes to unpack. The instructions were not included in the box. American Trucks weren't able to provide them. I had to contact DV8 to get Instructions.
