More Intense Combustion. Get cooler, more oxygenated air flow into the cylinder with the Polished AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake assembly, creating more intense combustion and translating into HP and throttle response gains. The assembly provides cooler air because intake is located away from the Dodge Ram's engine, near the passenger sidewall. The highly polished, mandrel-bent intake pipe also provides unrestricted cooler air flow, protected by a heat shield as a barrier against additional engine heat.
Oversize Filter for Purer Air. The oil-free, synthetic Dryflow filter that fits the Polished AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake assembly has bull-nose pleating spread over a large cylindrical surface. The shape and size lets the filter trap more dust before it enters the intake pipe and combustion chamber, adding to power performance.
Intake-Tested and Tuned. The Polished AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake assembly has been hooked up to a dyno tester that measures intake pipe dimensions against optimal engine acceleration and resonance. Intake pipe dimensions are fine-tuned to ensure peak power performance.
