      Description

Don’t let this happen by installing the Dee Zee Brite-Tread Tailgate Protector on your truck. Each tailgate protector covers the inner edge of your tailgate, giving it added coverage from possible dings and scratches brought about by moving cargo while in transit and during cargo handling.

      Durable and Rust-Resistant. This tailgate edge protector is manufactured using high-quality aluminum that comes with Dee Zee’s unique diamond pattern, which adds to the durability of the material. Aside from being tough, it is also weather and tarnish-resistant, with added BriteGuard clear powder coating.

      Easy to Install. This tailgate edge protector is easy to install and can be attached over the factory-installed plastic tailgate protector on your truck. It is advisable to clean the surface of your tailgate with the included alcohol pads before installation. If the adhesive tape is already attached to the underside of this accessory, simply peel off the backing paper, position your tailgate protector properly before pressing down to adhere. For some models, tape has to be cut and attached to some parts of the tailgate protector before installation. For models that require screws for installation, some drilling may be required.
