    Description

    Direct OEM Style Replacement. The knock sensor is used to detect engine spark knock. This information is used by the vehicle’s computer, the engine control module (ECM) to adjust ignition timing. A faulty knock sensor can result in poor engine performance and an illuminated check engine light. It can also cause poor fuel economy. Left unattended to, a bad knock sensor can even result in engine damage, since the ECM will not know when engine knock is occurring. Installing a quality Knock sensor will fix the problem.
