Its shielded design combined with the powerful DryFlow 3D air filter provides cooler air intake for your Sierra's engine, resulting in improved horsepower, torque, and an overall better response when you hit the gas.
Shielded Design. This air intake segregates your air filter from the heat of the engine and other moving parts by means of a heat shield at the back and bottom of the intake. And What a Filter It Is! The Corsa DryFlow 3D air filter is a top-of-the-line piece of equipment. The filtration medium is crafted from synthetic hydrophobic fibers, which offer maximum filtration while also being able to be cleaned every 50,000 miles with soap and water for simple maintenance.
Installation. You'll only need some simple hand tools and about an hour to do this yourself. Just remove the old one and screw in the new one with a socket driver. Having a professional take a look at it after being installed is a good idea to prevent any "Check Engine" lights that might happen.
