You will notice a race-like idle with the 282-grind while the 294 and 306-grinds will produce a rough or ''rumbly'' engine note.

Advanced Engine Building Skills Required. Installing camshafts is a complicated process, but if you have previous engine-building experience, it can be quite simple. Other supplementary modifications that are recommended but not necessary include rear end gear ratios, headers, and the torque converter.
