Description
Elevated Towing for Your Elevated Truck. Lifting your RAM 1500 can alter its towing capacity, unless you equip it with the BulletProof Hitches Heavy Duty 2.50-Inch Receiver Hitch Ball Mount; 12-Inch Drop/Rise. This hitch mount assembly is designed to drop or raise the included trailer ball mount by up to twelve inches. This enables you to compensate for the difference between the height of your receiver hitch and that of the trailer you need to tow. What’s more, this assembly’s trailer ball mount includes a 2 and 2.312-inch ball in one platform, making it exceptionally versatile.
High-Strength Build Quality. The receiver hitch ball mount assembly is precision-machined and expertly welded from premium 0.312-inch thick plate steel for superior strength. A 0.5-inch thick reinforcing gusset is then welded onto the assembly, improving structural rigidity. Likewise, its trailer hitch balls are CNC machined to exact measurements before getting welded onto a solid steel platform for impressive performance. Lastly, this assembly is finished in a durable textured black powder coating, providing optimum corrosion protection.
Simple Install Procedure. When installing this receiver hitch ball mount assembly, you first attach the hitch ball platform onto the hitch shank assembly using the included pins. You then insert the assembled unit into your receiver hitch before securing it using any standard hitch pin. Please note that while this assembly includes pins for attaching the ball platform to its shank, it does not include a hitch pin.
