The 4-piston aluminum calipers are key. Fixed in place, they remain stiff and motionless and clamp the high friction coefficient pads strongly onto the rotors when you apply the brakes, translating your pedal motion exactly into braking action. The lightweight 2-piece rotors offer superior brake torque, plus shed heat rapidly through their vents. The cross drilled pattern removes waste gases and brake dust, while also sharply improving the rainy weather braking distance of your GMC Sierra.
Built for Excellence. The Brembo Rear Brake Kit uses good materials and cutting edge design throughout, including aluminum calipers which reduce caliper weight by almost half (40%) relative to stock. The rotors are manufactured from a heat resistant cast iron alloy that doesn't warp or suffer damage with repeated braking. The brake cables are braided steel, which gives them good protection versus corrosion and abrasion. Brembo warrants the kit against defects for 2 years.
