Description
Pro Appearance. These Boom Mat Speaker Baffles - 6x8 in. Oval look like they've been professionally installed once you've attached them snugly your Sierra 1500's existing oval speakers. And, in addition to looking great, the thin black polyethylene material bolsters speaker performance so you won't experience sound wave distortion like you did before.
Reduces Reverberations. The two Boom Mat Speaker Baffles are made of closed-cell polyethylene foam to reduce panel-to-frame resonance for clearer sound quality. Plus, the baffles keep out moisture with their water-tight design, not to mention protecting each 6x8 in. speaker from dust and dirt. With a better speaker performance from these baffles, your rig's interior may just become your favorite listening space.
Half Hour Installation. Boom Mat makes these two matching 6x8 in. Speaker Baffles easy to install in tight spaces inside your Sierra 1500. The 30-minute process involves removing your existing speakers and mounting the baffles as a cushion for the oval speakers to sit in them.

Finally! No more door panel rattling!
I love my music while I'm driving and lately, I've been tending to listen to music that has heavier bass notes. Unfortunately, at higher volumes, it causes door panel rattling which sounds quite tacky, especially for a "newer" truck. I bought these and they ended up being the perfect solution. Very easy to install once you figure out how to take the door panels off (check YouTube). I kept the OEM speakers; I didn't upgrade some fancy aftermarket speakers because I actually liked how my speakers sounded. These actually slightly enhanced the sound quality so now with that and the rattle virtually gone; I feel like I finally get the "premium" sound experience with my ride.
