Beautiful finish. Fit was near perfect. There was some rubbing on the rear that I had to grind down, but I handled it fairly quickly.

Looks Great

Got this for my 17 Ram 1500 RWD, and it fit perfect, and looks awesome, if anyone can really see it, my truck is lowered 2" in the rear, but no only looks good, it holds more gear oil, and that some peace of mind, especially in the hot AZ desert weather. Install was pretty easy, took a couple hours because of all the cleaning and I had to remove the pan bar to get this in place because it is bigger than the OE, but after, it was all a piece of cake, and I used a new Felpro gasket and a light smear of silicon, and so far, no issues, no leaks, everything went back together nicely, and like I said, it looks awesome. The raw silver looks pops better visually in my opinion, but which ever you get, you won't be disappointed. Its also "functional", as there are 2 screws that seat on top of the caps inside the diff. to add to the strength.

Peace of mind

I added this prior to doing my routine transmission maintenance on a 19 TB. Chevy should have done this from the factory. Makes adding the Mobil 1 atf easy and checking fluid level easier than the factory way. The longest part of the install was backing out the heat shield bolts that are vertical.

Differential Cover (Aluminum, Black)

We looked at all the options for a custom diff cover. We chose this one for two reasons: (1) appearance (black color, ribbed design, stainless details, all great for an accessory that is fully visible from the rear of the truck; and (2) durability (aluminum material, defense against rust or corrosion, ribbed design, solid reviews). We’re very happy with it.

Why didn’t Chevy do this originally?!?!

Part goes on easily and works like a charm. If it wasn’t just replacing a rubber grommet I would have been concerned of how it’s secured to transmission. It proved I need an extra quart of fluid to let the tranny shift smoothly.
