They only thing wrong with it was one of the welds for the nut wasn't lined up with the hole so had to use different bolts than came with the grill

Well, I’ve had brush guards on all my vehicles in the passed. This was the hardest one to install. I have a 2021 LT trail boss. It is a pain to get the tow took bolts out mainly on driver side for the bolt that hangs down in the way that holds upper and lower bumper together from factory being in the way. I didn’t recall this saying cutting to fit. But it does require to cut out the area around your tow hooks to allow the brackets to fit in. You can install your tow hooks back with a little finesse as you can see in some other customer photos as well. Be very careful when removing your grille from truck it is fragile and has about 40 snap clips on it. I would buy again, it to me was worth it just expect to spend your entire afternoon doing this.

Lack of instruction.
This is a great grill and I love the look but the instructions to install lack alot of information. The black and white print out makes it hard to see the pictures. The lower brackets are not labeled either so I put the bottom brackets on the wrong sides at first. If you intend to keep the tow hooks, you will need to retain the same bolts that came with the truck, otherwise you lose your hooks. You will have to do some trimming and remove the tow hooks before putting in the lower brackets. This makes for a much easier install. Aside from that, the rest of the install was pretty smooth. It took me about 4 hours but only because I wanted a clean look when trimming the front area where the hooks are. Also because I had to reinstall the lower brackets twice. I really like the look. Great bang for your buck.
