The monotube technology and unique piston design of this front shock give you all of these along with superior performance.

      Standard-Setting Technology by Bilstein. Developed by Bilstein, the monotube gas pressure technology you get with your front shock is an example of ground-breaking innovation that is now a standard in the industry. The monotube design keeps the oil in the shock’s absorber even when it’s under pressure, ensuring that it doesn’t foam in high loads or increasing temperatures. This means you retain full damping power despite extreme stress.

      Tough and Long-Lasting. This front shock is made by Bilstein to last a long time with the use of superior craftsmanship and high-quality materials. To add to the durability of this shock absorber, the shaft is coated in yellow paint that prevents rust and corrosion and comes with a protective blue boot.

      Professional Help Needed for Installation. While this front shock is a direct bolt-on part that doesn’t need modification to install, it is still advisable to get a professional to install this for you. This is to guarantee the proper fitting of the part as well as to ensure your safety since this will require the lifting of the entire vehicle during the process.

      Improved ride

      We use our f250 for our business, Captain Junk Cleanup, and she rides in the back seat. She has complained for some time about the rough ride, so after much research, I purchased Bilstein 4600 front and rear shocks. The stock Ranchos had lost all rebound, as i compressed them and didn't extend back out. I installed shocks myself in my driveway. Didn't have to jack up truck or remove wheels. Used basic hand tools. Driver side front most difficult due to wiring harnesses partially blocking access to shock top Allen bolt access. Comes with instructions which are useless. Happy wife, happy life!

      Had Ranchero shocks for years till once I learned of these Bilstien shocks. What a difference on my 17 F 250. Smooth and super easy to install. Took around 2 hrs.

      Can't believe I waited so long...

      Replaced the factory shocks on my 2017 F250 Super Duty with a set of Bilstein 4600's. New ride is well beyond my expectations...greatly reduced unloaded "chatter". Easy to swap out the OEM for the Bilstein's...no adaptors, etc. Used the factory harware (came with new bushings, thats it). Really happy...just can't believe I waited 5 years to do it!

      Not bad

      The shock is good. Feels heavy duty. The truck rides a little rougher at first so I'm waiting for a few hundred miles to break them in hoping it will smooth out. Not happy with American Trucks though. Ordered 2 of these for the front. One came with 2 upper washers instead of one upper and one lower. The other came without any hardware. Called customer service on a Wednesday to have another shipped to me. Today is Monday and I still don't have it.
