Back shocked
These shocks are great! Installed in my driveway. Super easy once you cut a wrench to make it stubby for top bolt. Took about 10 minutes per shock. Rides better than new!

Easy fix
I replaced my old worn out factory shocks with B8 5100’s on my Ram Big Horn. And man can I tell the difference. Even though the top bolt is in a difficult spot. It still only took maybe a hour and a half for both sides. I even did my front shocks with B8’s as well. Improved handling and the ride height is about the same.

Solid Option
Replaced worn out set of factory shocks (130,000 miles) with these Bilstein shocks. Night and day difference, rear end feels far more solid and comfortable. Install can be an issue, due to the top nuts being located in a pocket between the frame and mount. Hard to get tool in position, this is the most time consuming part. Job would be less than an hour, if it wasn’t for the top hardware issue. Also as a tip remove some of the mounting bolts for the inner wheel well guards, to give yourself some room.

These were better then expected!
Bought these hoping they would improve the harsh ride that the OEM shocks gave. These shocks are a god send for me as I have a very bad back from the skull to the tail bone. While I typically use Rancho shocks decided to try this brand. Glad I did don't think about it just buy them.

Just finished putting these on my wifes truck!
After years of buying another brand of shocks decided to go with these this time. I did the 2.1 lift on these shocks but wish I would have went just one notch lower.n I did a full set all around with the 5100's. Definitely a upgrade over factory. The Factory shocks were beating me to death. These seem to have smoothed out the road. I also noticed that when she applies her brakes now I don't feel like I am about to go through the windshield.

Better than factory!
I got the shocks pretty darn quick. Installation was pretty straightforward. Nothing trivial except fit the one bolt at the top to remove. After that it went quickly!

great strut
This is a great strut comes great ride quality. for RAMS with some mileage on them be ready to replace the lower strut bolt, and bushing, I did not have access to a press so I ended up replacing the entire lower control arm, as all the bushings were shot (112K miles) I had to order the lower strut bolt from mopar online as well. Keep this in mind for the higher mileage RAMS
