Description
Description. Many new pickups have a step indent in their bumpers, but it's not that easy to use. TrekStep has one job - make that step up into the bed from the rear corner more convenient and stable. With heavy-duty construction, TrekStep belongs on every working truck out there. Super-tough, black powder-coat finish says "no" to rust or corrosion.
Linkage arms and mounting brackets are made of high-strength, die cast aluminum alloy
Provides about 6" to 8" inches of downward extension depending on the application
Step plate is non-skid, powder-coated, high strength extruded aluminum
TrekStep Rear-mount supports up to 300 pounds of weight
Easy bolt-on installation in about 15 minutes in most applications

It took about 10 minutes to install. The hardest part of the installation was getting up from the ground. It is easy to use and my wife uses it too to get onto the truck bed

Nice step, works as advertised
Not sure if bumpers are getting higher or if I'm just less limber, or both! Anyways, I bought a pair of these steps and have been very happy with them, both for getting in and out of the bed. Install was easy, although I had to remove a wishbone-shaped bumper support bracket and I did have some clearance issues which I solved with the addition of the included spacer, with a few whacks of a deadblow. Install was about 20 minutes per side, very very easy. I did reach out to Bestop customer support directly, it's been a month and no reply. Take that for what you will, they make a good product but I think you're on your own for support.

I am not going to lie it was kinda a SOB to install I bought the slightly used or returned item? Some nuts and bolts were missing and some of the directions were vague. But once we get finished and used it we really like the finished product.. Thanks

Nice product!
This topper is really nice and solid. Cruise down the freeway at 70 no problem. Make sure that the canvas is not cold when installing or you will fight it.
