Description
Improved Capabilities, Maintained Comfort. Improving your off-road capabilities usually comes at the expense of on-road ride comfort even with your Air Ride-equipped RAM 1500. Not so with the BDS 4-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Fox Shocks for 22XL Wheel Models. This suspension lift kit is designed to raise your front and rear by a total of 3 inches while also leveling out your front to the rear. In doing so, this lift kit lets you take on tougher off-road trails while imparting a fiercer stance. More importantly, this kit achieves its awesome performance without compromising ride comfort for daily drives.
High-Performance Rear Fox Shocks. This lift kit will equip your truck with a pair of high-performance rear Fox shock absorbers. These shocks combine a monotube pressurized nitrogen gas charged design with an internal floating piston to deliver a faster damping response and precise handling when out on the trails. Similarly, these characteristics translate as a firm but smooth ride quality with the same accurate handling performance. Additionally, these rear shocks utilize 2-inch wide all-aluminum shock bodies for better heat dissipation and fade-free performance.
Heavy Duty Lifted Steering Knuckles. This suspension lift kit’s 4 inches of front lift comes courtesy of two lifted steering knuckles. These steering knuckles feature relocated pivot points that ensure proper steering geometry is maintained and also feature a wider bore for use with the factory 22-inch wheel. Moreover, these steering knuckles are cast and CNC machined from heavy-duty ductile iron before receiving a protective powder coating for superior strength and maximum corrosion protection.
Hardwearing Front and Rear Air Ride Spacers. This lift kit also takes advantage of your RAM’s air ride system by including spacers for your front and rear air system. Specifically, this kit includes a pair of spacers for your front air struts and rear air ride bags. These spacers are designed to maintain the proper function of your air struts by including fittings that maintain their proper air supply. Also, these spacers are CNC-cut and machined from hardwearing plate steel and are finished in the same protective black powder coating as the rest of the kit’s components
Rugged Front and Rear Crossmembers. This suspension lift kit also includes front and rear crossmembers designed to provide ideal ground clearance while stiffening your truck’s frame. As with the other components of this kit, these crossmembers are laser-cut and expertly welded from premium plate steel and likewise receive a protective black powder coat finish for maximum durability and corrosion protection.
Professional Installation Recommended. This lift kit’s components install into factory locations on your underchassis. However, you will need to trim out several sections to properly fit the included parts. You will also need to make some modifications to your air suspension system that may result in misalignment or damage if done improperly. Consequently, professional installation is recommended.
