Trey: What's up, guys? Trey here from americantrucks.com, and today, we're checking out these Raxiom Axial Series headlights with the LED Bar, Black Housings, and a Clear Lens, for the 2007 to 2013 GMC Sierra 1500s. If you're in the market for a sleek and modern headlight upgrade that boosts visibility and style, these headlights are definitely worth checking out.So, these Axial headlights are a stylish and functional upgrade over the factory units. Designed with a black housing and a clear lens, they provide a sharp, aggressive aesthetic that enhances the front end appearance of your Sierra. A standout feature is gonna be the built-in LED bar, which serves as a modern and highly visible daytime running light, ensuring you stay safe on the road, and adding a few style points. These headlights use projector-style lenses for the low beams, improving nighttime visibility by producing a more focused and intense beam pattern. The high beams retain a reflector design, ensuring a long-distance illumination. Also, these headlights are compatible with factory halogen bulbs, or you can use this opportunity to upgrade to a brighter aftermarket bulb, like LEDs, for even better lighting performance. Now, these headlights are crafted from high-quality materials. They feature a durable black housing that resists water and weather. The clear polycarbonate lenses are designed to withstand impacts and UV exposure, keeping them looking sharp for years to come, without that fading and cracking that you get from the factory units. Inside, the LED bar is engineered for efficient performance and long-lasting operation, while the sealing used in construction ensures protection against water and moisture infiltration, so you don't get that hazy, watery look under the lens. Now, as far as pricing goes on these, these are coming in in that lower $300 range. For a set of headlights with upgraded styling, improved visibility, and the durable construction, they provide a excellent value compared to other aftermarket options. When it comes to the installation process, these headlights earn a very simple 1 out of 3 wrenches on our difficulty meter, and should only take you about an hour of your time. They're designed as a direct fit replacement for your Sierra, meaning no modifications are gonna be required. You just need some basic hand tools to remove the stock headlights and secure these in its place. The process is very straightforward, making it a great project for those DIYers out there. Now, let's see exactly how these go on your truck, with an install video from one of our americantrucks.com customers.Man: Tools used were a flathead screwdriver, a 7 and a 10-millimeter socket, an adapter, ratchet with extensions. All right. Today we're gonna be putting in the new Raxiom Axial headlights. Your first step is to come and take these clips out. And then once you get the clips out, you'll remove this radiator cover. Once you get the clips out, take the radiator cover off, and then you'll take out one more 10-millimeter bolt. Then you're gonna come under the wheel well, and get these two 7-millimeter bolts. And we'll do the same to the other side. Then you wanna gently pull. Once you get your bumper off, you're gonna reach in here and get another... Then you can come up here, get the other bolts that are holding the headlight down. Now that you have those out, you'll be able to reach in here. Now that you have that out, you'll grab this pin. This is the main connection to the headlight. Once that's done, set this to the side. You'll come in here, get that 10-millimeter bolt holding the bottom of the housing. Then get the remaining two. Remove the main connection, and your headlights are off.If you were using the same bulbs and the same turn signals, you would remove all these, how you would. Take this out, and you would apply them to the new headlight housing. So, now you got your old headlights out. Time to grab the new ones. Then you come in here, and take the main power cable, and plug it into the headlight's wiring harness. Everything's already hooked up. Then you'll come in here and do the process of removing the old headlights in reverse. [inaudible 00:08:05] Then you'll take the other one. Do the same thing. Set it up in here. Grab the main cable, set it up to the wiring harness. Push it in. All right. Once you got it plugged in... I went ahead and put LED lights in there before I got it installed. And we'll go ahead and set this one in place. Where'd that zip tie go that was in the pocket? Not that pocket. Hopefully, they'll cut that out. [inaudible 00:08:44] looking like a goofball. All right. Then you'll... See this in here? Line up these holes with the pins on them. Now you're gonna take your 10-millimeter bolts. Once that one's set, come in here. Go back through, make sure every one of them's tight. Take your 10-millimeter socket. The last one. And these were 7-millimeter. Last one. Now you'll go back and put the four 10-millimeter that were holding the grille in place. Then I put one on each side. [inaudible 00:12:08] All right. Back to the grille. Then you'll come back over here. Line the holes up. Get your pins. Set them in place. And go back through, and lock them all into place.Trey: All right. Now, that's gonna wrap up our review and install of the Raxiom Axial Series Headlights with the LED bar, Black Housings, and a Clear Lens, for the 2007 to 2013 Sierra 1500s. And for all things Sierra, keep it right here at americantrucks.com.

Great Look and Work great
I installed these in just under an hour. They look fantastic and seem to be completely unbothered by water. It’s a totally new look to the truck.

Exactly what I was looking for
Two years ago I purchased similar headlights that were projector instead of reflector. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Do not buy $200-$400 projector headlights. The lenses are cheap and you will not be able to see anything at night. I lived with them for 2 years depending on my led foglights to see well at night. I purchased these while looking for oem style headlights to be able to see again at night and they are worth every penny. Performance with a newer, cleaner look. Easy install, the C-bar is bright and they are as bright or brighter that my stock headlights. Also love how they have stock bulb fittings. Most aftermarket headlights have cheap makeshift sockets for the bs bulbs that come with them. Overall great headlights. Side notes : if you have existing LED turning signals they likely will not fit the connectors on these headlights. I had to go back to stock turning signals for the moment. Besides that no issues.

Review shared from Raxiom Axial Series Headlights with Sequential LED Bar; Black Housing; Clear Lens (07-13 Sierra 1500)
Cool housings. Not sealed though.
I was really excited about these. They look amazing. They are not sealed well though. I had to silicone the seam 3 times on these and I still get a tiny bit of water inside when I wash my truck. I always seal aftermarket headlights but for the price I shouldn't have to.

I love them they look great but I’m still getting hyper flash I’m not sure if it’s the lights or the wiring

Disappointed
The lights that I had in my stock headlight assembly doesn't work with these. Also the daytime running lights go off and on while I'm driving. They look nice but not happy.

As soon as I plugged them in the LED’s flashed and died. Will be returning asap.

Good Look, Mediocre Fit
I've learned from previous aftermarket headlights that you need to silicon seal the seams before install to keep water out. Time will tell if this works. The DRL looks great, the wiring was simple as they give you a lot to work with, One of the bracket mounts had busted, and there's about a 1/4-1/2" gap on the outer sides between the housing and the fender that is kind of annoying. If the quality waS better and the fitment better, I'd give it 5/5
