What’s more, this component’s high-quality polyurethane build is strong enough to provide your tailgate with nominal protection against impacts.
High-Strength Build Quality. This tailgate applique is made from premium ABS plastic to offer exceptional durability and resistance to deterioration due to extreme temperature and weather. Moreover, this component is machine-formed to exact specifications, providing a precise fit when mounted. Finally, this component comes in a sleek satin black finish that looks terrific on its own but is designed to be paintable to match your RAM’s body color.
Easy Install Procedure. Installing this tailgate applique is a fairly easy procedure as these utilize preinstalled automotive-grade, double-sided adhesive tape for a convenient peel-and-stick mounting process. It is advised that you thoroughly clean and dry the mounting areas first before using the included adhesion promoter for maximum adhesion of the tape. Similarly, when installing this applique in cold weather to first warm-up the mounting surfaces because the adhesive works better in temperatures of around 60 degrees Fahrenheit. This can be accomplished using a heat gun or hairdryer.

Application Notes. This Air Design tailgate applique will require you to relocate the main ram’s head logo onto the component only. The rest of your truck’s tailgate emblems will be deleted.
