Description
Increase Power And Performance. It doesn't matter if your TRX RAM is a daily driver or a dedicated weekend fun truck an increase in horsepower and torque is always a plus. You can add the extra power you crave by simply installing an Advanced Flow Engineering (AFE) Track Series Cold Air Intake with Pro Dry S Filter. The Track Series Cold Air Intake replaces the restrictive stock air box and paper filter element with a 100% twill weave carbon fiber intake tube and free flowing Pro Dry S filter assembly. This Intake will improve the airflow path into your RAM's engine creating more usable power and better fuel economy.
No Tune Required. This AFE Track Series Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your RAM without the need of reprogramming its computer. By utilizing state of the art computer-aided designs this AFE Intake will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Cold Air Intake.
Pro Dry S Air Filter. The included Pro Dry S Air Filter is engineered to effectively filter out minuscule power robbing particulates while maintaining excellent air flow. This AFE Air Filter features 3-layers of progressively finer synthetic media to ensure superior filtration and outstanding engine protection without the use of messy oils. The soft polyurethane frame is pliable allowing it to seal tightly to the air box. Best of all the Pro Dry S Air Filter is re-usable, just wash, dry and re-use.
Straight Forward Installation. Designed to be a direct fit replacement for the factory intake this AFE Track Series Cold Air Intake installs with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included.
Application. This AFE Track Series Cold Air Intake with Pro Dry S Filter; Carbon Fiber is designed to fit 2021-2022 RAM 1500 TRX models. The included filter is white in color.
