The twisted short tube design and 4-to-1 mitered merge collectors effectively reduce turbulence and facilitate a more efficient exhaust flow. Moreover, each header has greater exhaust scavenging ability, minimal turbulence, and enhanced exhaust flow over the restrictive factory manifolds.
Raw and Aggressive Sound. These Twisted Steel Shorty Headers enhance your truck’s rugged stance as it gives off a powerfully loud exhaust note. This system upgrade appropriately goes with your engine’s high-powered performance as it produces an aggressive roar while accelerating.
Durable and Weather-Tight. AFE manufactured these 1.875-Inch Twisted Shorty Headers using a MIG-welded, mandrel-bent steel tubing for superior strength. This material is specifically designed to withstand extreme temperatures and resist the corrosive attacks caused by exhaust gases. Additionally, the header flanges are CNC-machined cut to guarantee a leak-proof operation for a race-proven strength.
No Tune Required. Each Shorty Header assembly needs no aftermarket tune to operate. The stock tune is fully adequate to correctly run the header exhaust system and match the rest of your vehicle’s engine.
