Top-Notch Drive. AEM's Gunmetal Brute Force Cold Air Intake is specifically crafted to provide a serious boost in your 2007-2008 6.2L GMC Sierra 1500's performance. Featuring less restrictive parts than your factory components, this intake is designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to improve your rig's horsepower and torque so you can take on the trails and streets with confidence.
High-End Filter. The extra-large, cone-shaped air filter is located in the original air box space and is protected by a heat shield to reduce air intake temperatures and increase horsepower. Made from non-woven, oil-free synthetic material, this filter drastically improves airflow and filtration to keep your engine running smoothly. It also lasts for up to 100,000 miles, after which it can be easily cleaned and used again.
Maximum Durability. The intake is built with powerful mandrel-bent aluminum tubing that is tough enough to tackle the most challenging missions. In fact, the tubing is even finished with a gunmetal gray powder coat for style and ideal protection against rust and corrosion damage. The intake also features a design that works perfectly with your truck's factory emissions control devices, including the mass air flow sensor.
Installation. Those with basic mechanical skills will be able to easily secure this intake with the included hardware. The installation process takes about 1 hour from start to finish.
