Gear Upgrade. You've just taken apart the rear end on your 2008-2010 F-150 to upgrade your rear gears, which is no easy feat. Don't let your project come to a screeching halt due to lack of required components. Complete your 9.75" rear differential gear swap from start to finish by getting this combo 4.11 Rear Gears and Master Overhaul Kit. Everything needed in one package.
Wake Up Your F-150. Installing a set of steeper gears is a great way to get your F-150 into the power band quicker for improved low end torque, faster acceleration off the line and quicker ET's. A set of 4.11 Yukon Gears will really wake up your F-150.
Better Than OEM Quality. Yukon Gear crafts their Rear Ring Gear and Pinion from forged 8620 triple alloy steel for superior durability. As a result, they can handle the rigors of driving hard on the road or rugged trails. Using state of the art equipment and manufacturing techniques, Yukon Ring and Pinion sets are made to higher than OEM standards and are backed by a 1-Year Warranty.
Last for Years. The included Master Overhaul Kit contains Timken bearings and several pieces that have been precision machined to perfection using Yukon Gear's innovative casting and manufacturing techniques. Thanks to the sturdy and durable construction, this kit will last for years and allow you to handle even the toughest of jobs.
Recommended Upgrade. Changing the rear axle gear ratio will throw off the calibration of your F-150's speedometer, but a Tuner is a quick and easy way to fix this issue.
Application. This 4.11 Yukon Rear Gear and Master Overhaul Kit is designed to fit on 2008 to 2010 Ford F-150s with a 9.75" Rear Differential.
Application Note. If you're unsure if your F-150 has an 8.8 in. (10 Bolt) or a 9.75 in. (12 Bolt) rear, please check with your local Ford dealer to determine what rear is in your truck.
Technical Note. Installation costs will vary, but a good rule of thumb is between $250 and $300. Be sure to work with a reliable shop that you trust for installations.

Massive low end torque
Took about a day worth of installation. I've never explored gearing in trucks. Once it was in, if you're not smoking the tires when you flore it, you've done something wrong. Extreme amounts of low-end torque. Chevy's don't have the upper hand now with there 4.11's! Be aware when regearing the back of a 4x4 vehicle you also regear the front axle/ have axle as well.

I am a mechanic for ford and can honestly say this is a great product easy to adjust lash and much cheaper than ordering multiple ford shims at around 50 dollars each as a ford tech I highly recommend this shim kit to anyone looking to do any carrier work
