      Description

Positraction Differential. If your F-150’s factory rear end is not putting the power to the pavement you need to upgrade to a Yukon Gear Dura Grip Positraction Rear Differential. A Positraction (Posi) Differential sometimes referred to as a Limited Slip or LSD will allow both rear wheels to plant the power to the ground giving you better traction and more impressive burnouts. So, if you want smooth operation with strong lock-up abilities to transfer more torque to where its needed, this is the Differential for you.

Heavy Duty Construction. Yukon constructs the Dura Grip Positraction Carrier Housing from nodular iron for superior strength. Assembled in the USA, this rear Differential boast forged 4320 steel forged internals with 4-spring Raybestos composite clutches for dependable heavy duty performance and long life.

Recommended Upgrade. Seeing that no gears are included with this Differential, you will need to reuse your factory 8.8” gear set. A better idea is to upgrade to a new set of steeper 8.8" gears to improve your F-150’s performance.

Professional Installation Recommended. The installation of a Limited Slip Differential can be a very intricate and intimidating process, so mechanical experience is highly recommended. AmericanTrucks recommends professional installation for the best results.

1 Year Limited Warranty. Yukon Gear and Axle warrants the original purchaser that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year after the purchase date. Some exclusions may apply, please see manufacturer's warranty for details.

Application. This Yukon Gear 31 Spline 8.8" Dura Grip Positraction Rear Differential is designed for use with 2009-2014 Ford F-150 models. Requires use of 31 spline axles.

Technical Note. Yukon recommends the use of high grade GL-5 gear oil and Yukon LSD (Limited Slip Differential) additive for long life and smooth operation. Part number OILADD. The use of synthetic oil is allowed, but may result in aggressive or noisy operation.
