How to Install Wire Mesh Upper Grille Insert - Black (15-17 All, Excluding Raptor) on your Ford F-150

Step 1\\ Using a panel removal tool, remove the (12) push clips holding the plastic radiator cover to the grille.


Step 2\\ Remove the (4) 8mm bolts holding the top of the grille to the radiator support.


Step 3\\ Unplug the (2) wire connections by the hood latch.


Step 4\\ Carefully pull back on the headlight trim, and remove the (2) 8mm bolts holding the grille in.


Step 5\\ With a panel removal tool, remove the (6) push clips holding the side cover in place. Then remove the grille completely from the vehicle.


Step 6\\ Remove the factory grille by removing the (4) push clips on the top, and (2) 8mm screws on the bottom.


Step 7\\ Mark and cut out your factory grille using a rotary tool as shown above.


Step 8\\ Next, lay the new cutout grille on the factory grille and mark your (12) holes using a marker. Using a 5/16 drill bit and drill, drill out your holes. Then install the (12) M4 screws and nuts securing the grille to the frame.

Optional LED Wiring Diagram:
Red- Switch ignition 12Volt
Black- Chassis Ground


Step 10\\ Reinstall the grille by reversing steps 1-5.
