      Enhanced Braking Power. Wilwood offers the TX6R Front Red Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors as an excellent front brake upgrade for enhanced braking power. Wilwood’s finest engineering delivers unsurpassed integrity of the braking system, successfully tested both for daily driving and the bolder off-road applications. This kit is brilliantly composed of high-quality brake system components, with each part carefully crafted to deliver optimum dynamics for your Silverado 1500.

      Multi-Piston Calipers. The 6-piston calipers in this TX6R Front Big Brake Kit are made from billet aluminum with high structural rigidity, lightweight advantage, and exceptional resistance to high temperatures. Each caliper is equipped with 6 powerful pistons, strategically arranged in opposing positions to provide excellent and uniform clamping force on both sides of the rotor. It also sports an appealing, red powder-coated finish for reinforced corrosion resistance and a distinctively stylish appeal.

      Heavy-Duty Slotted Rotors. Wilwood includes high-quality rotors furnished with slotted patterns in this TX6R front brake upgrade kit. This design maximizes heat dissipating capabilities and prevents gas build-up. It also enables constant refreshing and cleaning of the brake pad surfaces for a more consistent frictional performance. Additionally, the directional vanes significantly enhance cooling efficiency.

      High-Quality Brake Pads. The brake pads were crafted using a special metallic composite formulation for long lasting durability and aggressively powerful braking bite. These pads are highly wear-resistant and can durably handle high thermal stress due to intense and repeated braking. Moreover, these brake pads ensure low brake dust and quiet operations.

      Bolt-On Installation. This TX6R Front Big Brake Kit directly bolts onto your Silverado’s factory mounting locations. It comes with all the necessary mounting hardware and installs with mechanical expertise recommended.

      Brake Upgrade Kit. This TX6R Front Big Brake Kit is composed of a pair of 6-piston front calipers, caliper brackets, a set of 16-inch rotor and hat assemblies, high-grade brake pads, and all the necessary hardware for installation.
