Improved Braking. When you’re Silverado's brakes aren't keeping up with your driving demands, you need to get this Red Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors. This big brake kit is designed to replace your Silverado’s worn out brakes with new and more durable components for better and improved braking capabilities. Furthermore, this big brake kit is ideal for daily use as well as high-performance off-roading.
Features AERO6 Calipers. AERO6 calipers crafted from robust aluminum alloy billet are included with this Big Brake Kit and delivers amazing braking capabilities, better than most aftermarket brake kits. The secret lies in the stress-flow forging method uses by Wilwood to manufacture these calipers. This stress-flow forging method gives these calipers better clamping power on the road as well as on the trails to ensure optimum braking when you need it. To protect these calipers from rust and corrosion, Wilwood treats them with a protective red powder-coated finish.
High-Grade Slotted Rotors. This Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit uses rotors made from high-grade materials ideal for withstanding high-temperatures from off-road and street use. Each rotor is crafted with a GT-series asymmetrical face slot pattern that effectively removes gas and impurities from the rotor’s surface. Additionally, the individual dynamic balancing system allows for smoother braking no aftermarket can match. Each of these rotors is treated with a black E-coat finish designed for superior protection from rust and corrosion.
Smartpad BP-20 Brake Pads. The additional components included in this Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit are Smartpad BP-20 brake pads. Unlike your Silverado’s factory pads, these high-performance brake pads provide medium friction and moderate wear making them perfect for dirt tracks, city driving, and off-road applications. In addition, these brake pads produce less dust compared to other brands thanks to the BP-20 compound used during the manufacturing process.
No Drilling Required. Installing this Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit does not involve the need for drilling or cutting. This big brake kit can be properly installed using only simple hand tools. Before installing this big brake kit, make sure that your Silverado comes with cast iron spindles.
Front Brake Kit Contents. The contents of this Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit includes Smartpad BP-20 brake pads, AERO6 calipers, slotted GT 72 curved vane rotors, and this kit’s installation hardware.
Separate Brake Line Kit Required. Wilwood’s calipers are incompatible with your Silverado’s factory brake lines. For this reason, you need a brake line kit from Wilwood to ensure proper installation of this AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit.
Application. This Red Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors is designed for all 1999-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models.
Application Notes. This Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit will work well with wheels with a minimum diameter of 18 inches.
