      Efficient, Powerful Braking. Give your Silverado more powerful yet smoother braking with this red Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit With Drilled & Slotted Rotor. The rotors come with fixed aluminum calipers, which help the brake pads deliver a consistent friction output from both sides. This results in more powerful, efficient, and yet comfortable braking. This simply means that you can use this brake kit whether you’re using your truck for daily driving or more intense applications.

      High-Quality Aluminum Calipers. These AERO4 aluminum calipers are not only lightweight, but they also boast superior strength and corrosion resistance. In addition, these calipers feature a 4-piston design. This creates heavy-duty and uniform clamping force on both sides of the rotor for powerful braking action. Finally, they are finished with a bright red heat-resistant coating that won’t crack or fade through the years.

      Engineered From Spec 37 Carbon Iron. The AERO4 series rotors that come with this kit are cast from a proprietary iron alloy formula called Spec 37. This iron alloy can withstand and resist extreme heat, which in turn minimizes brake fade. The cross-drilled, slotted, and vented design of these rotors means that dust, gases, and water are eliminated much faster from the rotor surface. They are also more efficient at heat dissipation, even in demanding situations. Finally, the fixed-mount iron hats add strength and durability.

      Metallic BP-10 Brake Pad Compound. Wilwood included a set of BP-10 rear brake pads in this big brake kit. BP-10 is a metallic, medium-friction compound that’s perfect for daily usage requiring light to medium braking. These brake pads also perform well during high-performance situations like street racing. They also offer powerful, quick-response braking and yet actually produce less dust. Moreover, they’re less abrasive to the rotors so they also have a longer lifespan.

      Straightforward, Direct-Fit Installation. You can use this brake kit to directly replace or upgrade old parts. Make sure to follow the enclosed instructions if you plan to DIY the installation. If not, make sure to bring your vehicle to automotive experts. Either way, the installation will take about a couple of hours. Afterward, follow the break-in procedure in the instruction manual to ensure the best performance.

      Rear Big Brake Upgrade Kit. This AERO4 rear big brake kit from Wilwood comes with 4-piston calipers, two-piece heavy-duty rotors, and complete set of rear brake pads. Also included in the kit is all the necessary hardware for a hassle-free installation.

      Application. This red Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit with Drilled & Slotted is compatible with 1998-2018 editions of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
