Description
Power and Performance. Maximize the power of your F-150’s 5.0L V8 engine by installing a Whipple W185RF 3.0L Intercooled Supercharger Stage 1 Kit. You will see power numbers of up to 735 horsepower and 685 foot pounds of torque at the flywheel when installed with the included Whipple calibration. This Whipple Supercharger gives you a near instantaneous power boost for incredible acceleration and top end power.
Complete Kit. This Whipple Supercharger Kit comes complete and includes the Gen 5 W185RF 3.0L twin-screw supercharger unit, aluminum high-flow intake manifold, oversized air-to-water intercooler, high-flow 55 lb-hr fuel injectors, Iridium spark plugs, air filter, pulley, hoses, and wiring harnesses. A OBDII flash programmer with Whipple calibration is also included for easier tuning.
Whipple Technology. The Whipple W185RF 3.0L front entry twin-screw supercharger significantly outperforms the competitions 2.3L and 2.65L roots-type systems. Whipples inverted design allows for an oversized intercooler core, when compared to other companies smaller intercooler cores, giving the Whipple lower air charge temperatures which allows for more boost and timing to be run on pump gas. Whipples Gen 5 superchargers feature a new 3x4 rotor combination for increased RPM capacity, large diameter for increased airflow and small leak path, as well as increased helix for optimal sealing. This 3x4 rotor combo significantly increases in airflow under the curve, when compared to other companies less efficient 4x4 roots design. Whipple Superchargers feature a massive oversized intercooled air-bypass system for an industry leading reduction of burst knock and incredible fuel economy.
Application. This Whipple W185RF 3.0L Intercooled Supercharger Kit; Black; Stage 1 is designed to fit 2018-2020 Ford F-150 models equipped with the 5.0L V8 engine.
