Hides stone chips / Easy install ??

I really like how the stone chips on my hood are now covered & it gives a mildly aggressive look to the hood. I read the directions first & was able to complete in under 10 minutes by myself, no help.

Looks nice but

I love the low profile look, but the edges of the acrylic touch all along the top end of the cover, and are jagged in spots that will definitely scratch the paint if not properly addressed. One will have to install door jam tape prior to install and sand or w/ a lighter lightly burn off the ruff edges.

I have not been disappointed in a Weathertech product yet. This looks great and fits very snug and is very form fitting to the profile of the hood. It was pretty simple to install and I did it myself with just one set of hands in about 10 minutes with the prep included. I can barely tell it's there on my black truck, even when looking right at it. It would be more of an accent on contrasting color trucks. Weathertech quality. Very happy with it.

Good protector

Now that I've seen this on my truck and others, the vehicle actually looks naked without it. Especially mine being a trail boss with the black grill and front bumper, it just extends that black look a little higher up on the vehicle and takes away that vulnerable edge where my white paint had been shipped over the couple of years of use by the previous owner. Probably not doing anything more than just driving down the road no fault of their own, this is a vulnerable spot that this nose protector does a great job of healing and adding a better stylistic finish to an already nice looking front end on this truck model I used dry erase marker instead of the blue tape to mark the ends but I see the value in using the blue tape because you're going to need the blue tape to stick down the ends anyway to make sure the application tape adheres properly. I've had bug deflectors that were harder to install over the years. This thing is molded perfectly and should not create any significant issues for you if you're smart enough to change a flat ??

Great Smoke Hood Protector

Great Weathertech hood protector. Everything to put it on was in the box except the instructions. Make sure you have 2 people to put it on. It fits snugs nice and once you get it on it looks really great. Weathertech again made another excellent product.

Hood Protector

I bought the WeatherTech hood protector that has the glue strips that hold in place rather than using fasteners from previous ones. I test fitted it then after marking how it fitted, I removed the backing off the sticky strips and carefully fitted it on. Once it's on it's not coming off, something to be aware of.

Great protection

This hood protector save my hood from all the rock chips. Easy to put on and looked good too.
