Description
Increase Power And Performance. It doesn't matter if your Silverado is a daily driver or a dedicated work truck an increase in horsepower and torque is always a plus. You can add the extra power you crave by simply installing a Volant Closed Box Cold Air Intake that includes a PowerCore Dry Filter. The Volant Cold Air Intake replaces the restrictive stock air box and paper filter element with a custom air box and a free flowing PowerCore Dry Filter assembly. This Intake will improve the airflow path into your Silverado's engine creating more usable power and better fuel economy.
No Tune Required. Volant engineered their Cold Air Intake to improve the performance of your Silverado without the need of reprogramming your computer. By utilizing flow dynamics, this Intake will increase power using the original factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Cold Air Intake.
PowerCore® Air Filter. The included Donaldson air filter is engineered to enhance air flow using ultra nanoweb fiber technology that can filter up to 99.99% of engine-damaging dirt, dust and debris. It is made from cotton gauze material that is reusable and water-resistant, and doesn’t deteriorate easily. This air filter is maintenance-free for up to 150,000 miles on the road.
Closed Air Box Design. Featuring a custom high-velocity venturi filter adapter, this Volant air box far outflows the factory intake. One of the cooler features of the Volant air box is the clear plexiglass window. This window not only adds eye catching appeal, but makes it easy to check your filters condition with just a glance.
Bolt-on Installation. Volant designed their Cold Air Intake kit to be a direct bolt-on replacement. With no special tools or extra modifications required installation can be completed in under an hour. All parts and detailed instructions are included.

Cold air intake
The volant cold air intake was a great design that Incorporated the lower half of the stock airbox and existing intake duct work, the sensor was easy to swap over and the oiler hose was a perfect location to sway over to the new intake manifold pipe. It took 15 minutes to remove the old system and install the new upgraded intake operates great as expected, looks cool under the hood, does not void my factory warranty.

Get this intake!
Probably the easiest install you can do. Uses factory air box base. Gives the engine a better look. And adds a little growl, I had K&N Cold air intake and that was just to loud, especially when there’s sleeping kids in the truck. This is perfect. Would buy again
