This intake system helps add more horsepower and torque to your truck by supplying more clean and cool air to your engine. With greater amounts of air, your engine will be able to deliver better combustion, leading to significant power gains.
No Tuning Is Required. Once this cold air intake is installed in your truck, it is ready for use. No tuning is required. However, you can perform an optional re-tune if you want to bring out this intake system’s real potential.
Equipped with a MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter. This cold air intake delivers superior filtration performance, thanks to its MaxFlow air filter. This air filter is made up of 5-layer cotton gauze blue filter media that’s pre-oiled in order to effectively trap dirt and contaminants.
Tough Construction. To withstand your truck’s extreme underhood conditions, this cold air intake is built with durable and high-quality components. It features a tough polyethylene intake tube that has excellent thermal resistance properties. Plus, it is protected by a large closed air box to prevent excessive heat from damaging the intake components.
