The lid is filled with a hardening, expanding foam material, sandwiched between 2 aluminum plates that create a solid structure. The aluminum construction has a lighter weight while remaining rigid. Moreover, the MicroSeal™ gasket helps seal out moisture, dust, and dirt. It also comes with a removable BedRug liner that protects your tools while reducing noise.
