Incomplete parts setup
I went with this brand because it fits beautifully in the Ram, (it’s actually the same as installed by Ram on one of its models). The only drawback was the key’d lock. Once I discovered that there was a 3-digit combination lock available I decided to go with Tuffy then ordered the updated digital lock for $33.00+. In the photos for this lock there is a folded piece of metal that allows you to open the safe door, much like using the key on the lock supplied with the safe. Much to my disappointment when you spend $33 for the combination lock Tuffy wants you to spend another $9+ for this piece that takes the place of the outside washer! Seriously!? Had I known, I’d have gone with another comparable brand, just out of principle. Instead of this, I simply manufactured a pull tab out of spare garage items. Crude? Maybe, but it works and after I file/sand a bit more then paint… I’m good.

Lockable cab storage for Colorado
This is one of those products that just works well and solves the problem. There's no secure storage anywhere in the cab of the Colorado, until now! Relatively easy to install, fits perfectly, offers plenty of useful space, and is basically invisible to everyone. It's very well constructed and actually improves the looks of the second row by providing seamless support for the rear seat. The 60/40 split locking cover is very useful and matches the seat split for easy access. I had to purchase a T47 Torx head bit to get the factory seat support bracket out, but that's it. It's a little bit spendy but well worth it.
