“My story started on the day I sold my 96 Toyota Tacoma. Soon after I found myself looking for a new truck. This truck was mainly going to be used for work so at first, I thought I would just be getting any truck but then I saw a 2012 GMC Sierra & knew I had to have it. Soon after purchasing my truck I began thinking about all the different modifications I would eventually want to add but I knew it would take time to complete with parts being expensive. One day I was searching for parts online when I came across American Trucks website & saw they were having a sweepstakes to win a $5,000 truck build. I couldn't believe it, I was just thinking about how & when I would be modifying the truck & this would get it done for free. I entered the sweepstakes and about a month later I received a congratulatory e-mail from American Trucks saying I had won the $5,000 truck build & I was ecstatic. I began correspondence with American Trucks about what to do next. Looking at their website & picking all the parts for my truck felt surreal. American Trucks were amazing to work with throughout the entire process. There was constant communication, if I had a question or problem it was answered or addressed immediately. There was never a time when I felt a lag in in communication. In fact, at one point I did have a part delivered to me damaged & with a quick response from American Trucks & no hassle to me the situation was taken care of & a new part was at my door step in no time. As much as I wanted the truck build I fully expected this experience to be painful & was happy to find that it was painless. They even paid for all the installations & hired a photographer to do before & after pictures which I found to be an extra bonus.”

Jason did just enough to make his Sierra stand out from the crowd while on the street! He went with a set of LED Headlights and Taillights, chrome grille overlay, and some much-needed interior upgrades. Some basic performance mods such as a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust, and a tuner were also installed. Finally, Jason wrapped his stock wheels in a set of fresh tires to keep his truck planted on the ground.

My overall favorite part I had installed is the dual exhausts. I now don't know how anyone drives a truck without dual exhaust!
