Better have a die grinder.
The hole on the block that the leaf springs were supposed to go into was not big enough for my 15 Silverado had to make it 1/8” bigger. Also had to bore out the holes in bracket where U bolts go in, New ones are thicker and I cut the 1.5” of thread too so a deep 24mm socket can tighten if not wrench away. Lifted my truck 1” not 1.5”

2018 LT - Confused
Confused about size
I haven’t installed this yet. I was told by American truck that it would raise the rear of my 2018 Silverado 1.5”. However, upon receiving the kit I saw the block is 1.5” and the factory block is 1.25” so I’m assuming it’s only a 1/4” lift over stock? I guess I’ll sell these on Craigslist and get the correct blocks.

The stock rear block was tough to remove but once everything was set and done, it’s easy to place and install.

Great productb
Easy install. Put a leveling kit on the front, but decided I wanted to go a big higher in the rear due to a camper top and a load in the bed pretty often. Took about 30min to install and came out great.

Great
Installed a front level kit on my 2015 Silverado and it made the front sit a little higher than the back. This product gave me just enough lift in the back to give me the desired look I was going for. It sits about half inch higher in rear now.

Good quality, solid u bolts
Blocks are made very solid, excellent quality, well worth the money. The u bolts are very strong also and big enough to work with the 5inch block. I installed it on a 01 silverado 1500 lifted it 5 inches as expected.

Q: Factory lift block are 1" tall when removing them and installing these it will give you an extra 1/2 in over factory correct?
A: This kit will provide a 1.5 inch lift in the rear compared to what you have now.
Q: Does this rear kit add a ½ " of overall height. Or 1"½ overall height over stock?
A: These 1.5 inch rear lift blocks will raise your rear 1.5 inches.
Q: Are these blocks tapered or flat? I’m looking for some spacers that don’t have the “pinion correcting taper”
