Velocity-Sensitive Technology. This rear shock absorber uses velocity-sensitive valving which provides the right amount of shock damping to your truck automatically according to the speed you’re driving. This gives you consistent comfort and ride quality wherever you go.
Highly Durable Shock Absorber. The nitrogen-charged Nitro 8000 Rear Shock Absorber is made for the brutal conditions of off-road driving. It comes with a twin-tube design with a piston head that is bigger than your truck’s stock piston which offers smoother handling. It’s also covered in a premium steel outer casing with a rust-proof coating finish for extra durability. Its bushings and boots are made from premium-quality polyurethane which is proven to work better than rubber for extra shock damping.
Quick and Simple Installation. This rear shock absorber directly bolts to your truck’s suspension system in an hour without requiring any cutting or welding. However, American Trucks highly recommends alignment by a qualified shop after installation for optimum results.

Smooth ride
I love these shocks they were fairly easy to install except for getting the boots to stay in place at the top while install other than that it’s very easy install.

They were easy to install, I recommend using some petroleum when installing the bushings, my old shocks were shot so these were a big improvement.
