Description
Style and Function. A set of Cutlass Running Boards are a great upgrade for those who have difficulty getting in and out of their Extended/Double Cab 3500HD Silverado. These Cutlass Running Boards will provide you with a convenient 5-inch wide step for easy entry, while giving your 2007-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD a clean, modern appearance. As an added bonus, these Cutlass Running Boards will help to prevent stones and road debris from damaging your vehicle's body and paint while driving.
Aluminum Construction. These Cutlass Running Boards are manufactured from heavy duty aluminum for superior strength and light weight. The Running Boards are then completed in a bright mirror polished finish for classic good looks and long-lasting corrosion resistance. As part of the final assembly rugged, high grip ABS plastic non-slip step pads and end caps are installed.
Bolt-on Installation. Engineered to be a direct bolt-on upgrade, these Cutlass Running Boards use factory mounting points. There is no cutting or modifications required for a simple straight forward install. With the help of a friend and a set of basic hand tools these Running Boards can be installed in about two hours.
Application. These Cutlass Running Boards; Aluminum are designed to fit 2007-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Extended/Double Cab models. Driver and passenger side included.

Sturdier than the factory ones
These running boards sit just a little further than the factory boards, and make it easier to get in. They also look a bit more aggressive and seem sturdier. I've had them on for about a week.

GRB set up and Completion
It took a little while to assemble, as the instructions were not clear and easy. All nuts, bolts, washers were in the same package. So figuring out what washer/nut went where was a task. Side piece (wild horse) was difficult to line up and install as the work space doesn’t allow for a ratchet. Had to do quarter turns with the Hex Key at a time. Was more time consuming to put together than anything. Overall appearance- looks amazing.

I have a Western plow set up on my 2500 HD. You have to modify the mounting brackets so they fit on the inside of the frame. Took full day with mods. But Im 67 takes a little while for me to stand up

My new Chevy Silverado 2500 HD with the Base K2
The base k2 over cab rack is an amazing product , is strong and good aluminun metal wich never rusts. But it only has 10 foot long , will be better 12 foot , and also de instruccions book for installation it is to hard to undesrstan it and does not give to much details.

Good Product
Not mechanically inclined but the install relatively easy. I wouldn't have a chance following the manual but the Youtube video was easy to follow and made the install pretty basic even for me. I did it by myself with a couple 2x4's and cardboard. Took 3 hours but I've never changed a tire lol, so I was happy with. My only challenge was getting the bottom bolts on the "double nut" plate (step 1, I think). If they were an 1/8" longer it would've made it way easier imo. Super solid so far

Looks great. A bit tedious to install. This kit does not come with an Adaptive Cruise Control Module relocation kit and limited instructions. That being said, it came packaged very well. Not a scratch on it. I would’ve loved it much more if there were adapter from the existing wiring harness to operate the included LED lights in the corners of the bumper. I really like the new look though.
