Efficient Install Procedure. This mini tailgate light bar is designed to install onto the space between your truck’s tailgate and license plate using automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape backing. Consequently, it is recommended to thoroughly clean and dry the mounting areas before wiping them down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol or acetone. This is to make sure you get maximum adhesion of the tape to your truck. What’s more, this light bar is designed to plug into your trailer outlet but can also be hardwired into your system if you want a more permanent install.
