      Description

      Improvement Over Stock Hood. Though it matches the shape and style of your OEM hood, the TYPE-RS Style Ram Air Hood is made using much sturdier material. It also features an air tunnel, which keeps air circulating around your engine bay. The result is a cooler engine that allows you to push your vehicle to its limits.

      Powerful Construction. The TYPE-RS Style Ram Air Hood is made using a combination of fiberglass and resin, which makes it slightly thicker than your stock hood. However, these materials also lend the hood unrivaled impact resistance, meaning you don’t have to worry about dents or dings from anything other than major impacts. The hood arrives with a gel coating so that it’s ready for painting.

      Some Preparation Needed Before Installation. This replacement air hood uses your vehicle’s stock latch and hinges for installation. However, it may require some grinding around the edges to ensure a perfect fit. The hood also needs to be inspected prior to painting, making professional installation necessary in many cases.

      Protected For 90 Days. Amerihood backs the TYPE-RS Style Ram Air Hood with a 90-day warranty against material and manufacturing faults.
