Instead of driving around with a damaged rear end, replace your stock tailgate with this Tailgate from Sherman. Manufactured to the same specifications as your original part, this Tailgate includes a pre-cut space for a handle and is CAPA-certified.

      Sturdy Construction Quality. Sherman uses high-quality steel to ensure this Tailgate is tough enough to handle whatever the road or trail can throw at it. The manufacturer also equips the Tailgate with protection against muck and the elements thanks to the EDP coating that is applied before shipping. Note that this part arrives unpainted, providing you with plenty of customization options.

      Direct Installation. You don’t need to cut or weld anything when installing this Tailgate. It fits directly to your vehicle’s existing support straps, allowing for a bolt-on installation that you can complete at home. It’s recommended that you paint your new Tailgate before installing it.

      A Lifetime Of Protection. With the backing of Sherman’s limited lifetime warranty, you can return this Tailgate if it has any material or manufacturing faults. The warranty is non-transferable and is voided in cases of user damage, such as that caused by accidents or neglect.

      Application. This Tailgate is designed for a direct fit into Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Fleetside vehicles made between 1999-2006.
