Description
High-Quality Running Boards. With a 5 1/2-Inch-wide step surface and LED lights, the SG6 series running boards from Westing are an excellent addition to your Silverado. Apart from allowing easier access to the vehicle, the boards will protect the vehicle's body from road debris. The running boards also come with remarkable slip-resistant properties, allowing you to reach the roof or cargo area easily.
Impressive And Long-Lasting Construction. The Westin running boards are made with extruded switch aluminum and feature a black textured finish. They also come with an anodized protective coating which keeps rust and corrosion at bay. The running boards also have injection-molded end caps that add another layer of protection.
LED Light Kit Included. The LED lights illuminate the running boards and provide safer vehicle access. The lights are activated by a magnetic switch as soon as your Silverado's doors open. The LED lights are entirely water-resistant and offer excellent energy efficiency.
Technical Note. You will need to purchase a #27-2145 mount kit from Westin for these specific boards.
Limited 5-Year Warranty. Westin SG6 series running boards come with a limited 5-year warranty for the quality of materials and workmanship. Remember that any mishandling of the boards will cause warranty cancellation.
Application. These running boards are a custom fit for the 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 crew cab.
Installation Difficulty. With the correct mounting hardware, an at-home installation can be done in less than 4 hours. You will need to have an intermediate skill level and proper tools. Vehicle owners without adequate skills should consider asking a professional to help.
