Description
Functional Protection and Style. Add protection, function, and style to your Silverado 1500 when you install the Prowler Max Grille Guard without Mounting Brackets in Polished Stainless Finish. This grille guard is designed to conform to the lines of your truck’s front fascia. This design, when combined with its sturdy all-stainless steel construction, provides your front end with outstanding impact protection and rugged style. This grille guard also features a 4-inch wide step plate on its lower center section, giving you an access solution when checking under the hood.
Sturdy Build Quality. This grille guard features a 2-inch wide tubular stainless steel construction that’s machine-formed to exact specifications. This tubular steel component is then expertly welded onto sturdy plate steel upright columns equipped with rubber facings. This design produces a grille guard that’s extremely sturdy and complements the look of your truck. Meanwhile, a heavy-gauge punch plate screen is also welded onto the guard’s center section for added protection. Finally, this assembly is polished to a near mirror shine for class.
No-Nonsense Install Procedure. This Power Max style grille guard is designed to install into preexisting locations on your truck. No additional drilling or modifications are necessary. Please note that this grille guard assembly does not include mounting brackets (sold separately.)
Application. This Prowler Max Grille Guard without Mounting Brackets in Polished Stainless Finish fits all 2007 to 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models.

The instruction of the Luverne prowler max grille guard was easy so what the don’t mention in the install is that it tensioner clips and the best was we had found when taking the grill off was to put a some cardboard form the box that the parts for the guard comes in an put those under the clips the shroud for the tow hooks doesn’t need to be trimmed a head gun or slight bending and there out of the way parts I would recommend and in pack screw gun and I only cut off one bolt for my tow hook for I install it would be 30 min to 45 just to make sure everything tight

I am so glad that I waited until this was back in stock and did not settle for something else. Well made and looks great. Will provide the protection that I need from the deer in NE Pennsylvania. Looking forward to adding the winch plate and winch down the road.

Awesome!!
Great look, color, and built strong. I had to buy the 4x4 skid plate under my bumper because the factory installed one had no tow hook holes on a 4x2 XLT truck model. The information never mentioned this fact. Cheap and easy enough to install. Has a slight wiggle to it though at high speeds. I will look to install a stabilizing cross bar later on.

Doesn't fit if you have fender flares
Took about 3 months to get it. Then they don't tell you if you have fender flares it will not fit. I does look good and seems to built solid though.

Regular Cab - these are perfect
One reviewer said the brackets are too long. Not for me. Having the full width makes more sense to me. Feels very stable. I was concerned that the SS might haze or rust. It must be marine grade. Looks just like it did new a year and a half ago. Super simple install.
