More importantly, this badge utilizes an innovative multi-layer construction that’s highly resistant to wear. This ensures you’re able to show off your state pride for years.

      Wear Resistant Build Quality. This badge’s novel multi-layer construction is highlighted by a top layer made from UV-treated domed resin giving it a 3D look that’s also highly resistant to scratches and fading. Likewise, the Florida Edition text and Florida state map are computer-printed using fade-resistant inks on a substrate of brushed silver vinyl, giving the badge its distinct style. Rounding out its construction is a base layer crafted from 3M automotive-grade adhesive film that works to seal off the vinyl substrate, extending its service life while allowing for a hassle-free installation.

      Light Install Procedure. This Florida Edition badge’s 3M adhesive base layer makes its installation a light peel-and-stick procedure onto any flat surface on your Silverado. It is advisable, however, that you first thoroughly clean the mounting surface of your choice before wiping it down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol. This is to get rid of any residue that can interfere with the adhesive. Moreover, when installing this badge during cold weather, it is a good idea to heat up the mounting surface to approximately 60 degrees Fahrenheit since the adhesive works best on warm surfaces. You can do this with a heat gun or hair dryer. Some adaptation may be required.
