New Tailgate Emblem. The Chevy Polished and Black Bowtie Tailgate Emblem is the perfect replacement emblem for your Silverado’s tailgate offering a classic and elegant look. This badge combines the familiar Chevy bowtie design with a high-contrast black and polished look to add an elegant tailgate accent on your truck. Moreover, this component’s premium build quality ensures this emblem will maintain its great looks for years.
Resilient Aluminum Build Quality. This tailgate emblem features a CNC-machined construction from high-grade 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum billet. This construction process ensures you get a badge that fits perfectly onto your truck and is extremely resilient. This emblem is then polished before being finished in a black powder coating on its center for a stylish dual-tone look.
Easy Install Procedure. This emblem installs easily via automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape backing. Before installation, it is advisable to thoroughly clean the mounting surface to maximize the effectiveness of the adhesive.

Amazing difference
What a difference it made to the visual appearance. Old emblem was attached by entire piece of double sided tape. It easily popped off with some plastic tools from advance which did no damage to the truck. New one goes on with four small pieces of double-sided tape. I was a little hesitant to wondering if they would actually hold up. However, it has been a couple days and so far so good. The tailgate emblem does have a small gap unlike the original piece did. I will repost if it falls off due to lack of tape or water/moisture getting in behind it.

Looks Amazing!
I have a black truck and after I installed this new bow tie it changed everything! My truck was completely color matched in the back and looks 10x better!!! Love it. All I need now is the new headlights with the black housing and I’ll be good to go!

Black emblem
It looks great once it’s finally on. Getting it off is easy. Use a heat gun or hair dryer. Heat it up a bit and grab some fishing line and start going back and forth to remove the old emblem. You’re going to have to use some Goo gone or something similar. After you get the goo off I used some alcohol and got the new one on. Looks great. I personally think it could use some more double sided 3m tape instead of the 4 thin stripes it comes with.
