These are good replacement lids. Sturdy as the original and easy to install. I would like to buy a locking lid but i can't seem to find one. So I like this one that is very well made and no problem installing.

Easy install,remove left & right windshield pillar trim and pry up, held in by clips & unclip twilight sensor. Looks just as factory intended

Fits perfectly, actually replaces the defrost vent area of the dash. Make sure to remove the old broken pieces still stuck before install. Probably took 30 minutes to do.

Cheap part saved $1000s

My 2010 Silverado started when you started it and went to put it in gear it didn’t want to go in gear and when it did sometimes the anti lock light would come on and the anti skid light would come on and the service transmission light would come on and it would flash first on then another. You could hit a bump in road and they would flash on. I took it to mechanic and was told it could be one or all the problems but they didn’t work on transmissions so he suggested taking it to one. I googled it and also and Utube and they said it could be this small less than $30 piece and only takes about half hour to put on so not being a mechanic I took it to one and he installed it and so far no lights are coming on. It never did effect the shifting so I thought it couldn’t be the transmission.
