The bug just fly past a the deflector. Makes a wall of air that pushes the bugs up and over 95% of the time. Install was a breeze, followed instructions and I am very happy.

Looks good
Looks great on the truck but unfortunately for me, it blew off on the highway, I followed the install instructions and it stayed on for a month, I just wish this deflector could be bolted on like the one from ford. It may be because I have a clear bra on my hood and it just didn’t adhere to it as it would paint. If you have a clear bra I would avoid the stick on rock deflectors

Works on bugs
It does keep my hood safe and the bugs off. However it does affect the aerodynamics negatively. I use rain x and the wind no longer pushes the rain off my windshield and it makes my hood almost flap during high speeds like over 85. You better be accurate when first placing it on. The double sided tape makes it almost impossible to readjust.

Looks and fits great but not functional for aerodynamics
Perfect fit, just like other of the same brand I have purchased in the past. The only con, if you have a sunroof, it changes the aerodynamics so that if the roof is open in any position other than just venting, it causes buffering starting around 45mph. You have to crack the windows to stop the buffering. Not ideal.....

Greatly reduces the bugs on the windshield
I am comparing this to my other truck that doesn’t have it and is loaded with dead bugs. I installed this for about a month and has helped keep my windshield clean with very few bugs making to the windshield!!! Love it!!! Not to mention that I love the look!!
