In fact, when properly set up, this tent can remain on your roof, so you're always ready for an adventure at a moment’s notice. Moreover, this tent can accommodate up to 3 people and comes with a 660-pound load rating. These factors and more make this tent ideal for individuals who are thinking of getting into overlanding.
Built-In Convenience. This rack mount roof top tent comes with a lot of convenient features designed to make your adventures more comfortable. Specifically, this roof top tent includes a 2-inch thick memory foam mattress designed to remain inside the tent. This way you don’t have to supply your own mattress for a good night’s sleep. Also included is a lighting kit that comes with an LED light strip, a 12-volt adapter, extension wire, and a USB port. This kit allows you to tap into your truck’s electrical system, enabling you to illuminate your tent’s interior. What’s more, a shoe bag is also included so you don’t have to take your footwear into the tent.
Rugged Build Quality. The rack-mount roof top tent’s floor uses panels made from honeycomb composite, making it both rugged and lightweight. The tent itself is made from water-resistant 600 denier Oxford rip stop fabric and features 400 denier Oxford rip stop fabric rain fly. This ensures you remain dry even in the event of a sudden downpour. Meanwhile, its telescoping ladder is made from a lightweight yet strong alloy. Finally, this assembly is available in a handsome gray colorway.
No Frills Installation, Setup, and Breakdown. This Rough Country roof top tent is designed to install onto your bed rack using a pair of heavy-duty aluminum mounting rails and the included hardware. No additional drilling or other modifications to your truck are needed. Once installed, this tent is designed to expand into its working form by pulling on the ladder before installing the included prop rods.
