Description
Offers a Smoother On- and Off-Road Ride. Improve your Ford F-150 setup for your high-performance drives by installing these Rough Country Adjustable Vertex Rear Shocks for 0 to 3.50-Inch Lift. These rear shocks help soften the bumps and blow off your rugged drives, keeping your drives as smooth as possible as a result. They also ensure that you’ll be able to control your vehicle with ease, no matter where your drives take you.
Can Be Adjusted. These vertex rear shocks come with an 8-stage adjustable damping feature. This allows you to precisely dial in your truck’s ride quality to fit your specific driving needs.
Heavy-Duty Monotube Construction. No matter how bumpy and rough your drives get, these rear shocks can handle the impacts of the trail. Their monotube construction features honed steel bodies, heat-treated alloy bearings, and CNC-machined billet aluminum accents. The shocks also come with a zinc-plated finish and double clear coating for added durability.
Installation Is Straightforward. These rear shocks mount to your vehicle’s OE rear shock location without the need for drilling, cutting, or welding. However, having moderate mechanical expertise or higher is needed to ensure a perfect installation. You can complete the procedure in no more than 2 hours.

Awesome!
Best decision I made was getting these as rear shocks.from stock shocks to these it honestly feels like a brand new truck. I feel more confident driving the truck as it feels more grounded, unlike before when it would bounce around on any bump on the road. Highly recommend

Great shock
These are awesome. My truck is riding much smoother and no more axle rap. The truck is stiffer but in a good way. I will need to play with the setting to figure out the best setting for on and off road. Set at 4 it’s a stiff but comfortable smooth ride. Bottom line these are awesome and well worth the money. Plus they look really cool. Rough Country’s support is kinda crappy but man American Trucks is on the ball quick and very easy to deal with. I did the Vertex front coil overs and new UCAs also. It’s winter and 5 degrees here and I don’t have access to a heated garage so I had a shop install them while doing the front end work. These would be a very easy install in the driveway with the hardest part getting the shocks compressed enough to go into the brackets

Great Shocks for lifted truck
The quality is great and I love the external reservoir. The adjustable damper settings is a nice addition but don't feel much difference between the settings, but maybe haven't tested it enough. I am very happy with these.

These are some really great shocks. My only advice is to put on shock boots to protect the shaft from rocks if you drive on dirt or gravel roads. The rocks ?? will damage the Right rear shock shaft and in turn it will cut the bottom seal and leak out the oil.

Vertex Rear Shocks for 6in. Lift (2016 F150)
Have had these installed for about 1 month in combination with the Vertex coilovers for 4-6.5 in. Lift and the ride is much better. I would say it is close to my 2012 Raptor but slightly rougher due to 6in lift. Very satisfied.
