Description
Dependable Rear Shock Absorbers. These Rough Country Adjustable Vertex Rear Shocks will optimize the on-road and off-road vehicle performance of your F-150. These rear shocks are built for F-150s with a 4 to 6.50-inch raise and satisfy the rigors of tough mountain trails while remaining comfortable and pleasant on the road. You can't find a fault with these Rough Country Adjustable Vertex Rear Shocks as they deliver the quality you would expect from Rough Country.
Impressive Construction. Each Rough Country Adjustable Vertex Rear Shock includes a honed steel cast and a triple-stage sealing system for everlasting dampening consistency. Each shock is made up of a monotube design with an external reservoir for improved damping. These shocks include a huge 2.50-inch piston encasing a 22-mm chrome-hardened piston rod that surpasses alternative models. Finally, a silver finish is provided for enhanced appeal and corrosion protection.
Three-Year Brand Guarantee. These Rough Country Adjustable Vertex Rear Shocks are sold with a 3-year manufacturer guarantee that covers any and all damages and defects caused by manufacturing mistakes or by delivery handling.
Basic Bolted Assembly. All mounting hardware is included when you buy these Rough Country Adjustable Vertex Rear Shocks. Replacing your stock shocks with these aftermarket shocks would take no more than 1 hour if done by a non-professional.
Application. These Rough Country Adjustable Vertex Rear Shocks are fitted for all 2014-2025 4WD Ford F-150 except the Raptor models.

Great Shocks for lifted truck
The quality is great and I love the external reservoir. The adjustable damper settings is a nice addition but don't feel much difference between the settings, but maybe haven't tested it enough. I am very happy with these.

These are some really great shocks. My only advice is to put on shock boots to protect the shaft from rocks if you drive on dirt or gravel roads. The rocks ?? will damage the Right rear shock shaft and in turn it will cut the bottom seal and leak out the oil.

Vertex Rear Shocks for 6in. Lift (2016 F150)
Have had these installed for about 1 month in combination with the Vertex coilovers for 4-6.5 in. Lift and the ride is much better. I would say it is close to my 2012 Raptor but slightly rougher due to 6in lift. Very satisfied.

Awesome!
Best decision I made was getting these as rear shocks.from stock shocks to these it honestly feels like a brand new truck. I feel more confident driving the truck as it feels more grounded, unlike before when it would bounce around on any bump on the road. Highly recommend

They are a great looking Shock. They ride really good when pulling the trailer you can adjust the compression and it slows it down from bouncing. would recommend them to anybody.

Great shock
These are awesome. My truck is riding much smoother and no more axle rap. The truck is stiffer but in a good way. I will need to play with the setting to figure out the best setting for on and off road. Set at 4 it’s a stiff but comfortable smooth ride. Bottom line these are awesome and well worth the money. Plus they look really cool. Rough Country’s support is kinda crappy but man American Trucks is on the ball quick and very easy to deal with. I did the Vertex front coil overs and new UCAs also. It’s winter and 5 degrees here and I don’t have access to a heated garage so I had a shop install them while doing the front end work. These would be a very easy install in the driveway with the hardest part getting the shocks compressed enough to go into the brackets

Decent value
I’m almost happy with the kit Instructions were vague. Pictures grainy. The kit includes brake line relocation brackets but nothing for the vacuum line or abs in the front end. And the rear sits about 2” lower than the front. I had to order a new rear block to make it level.

A true 2 inch level
These struts were very easy to install(did not follow RCs instructions) followed the instructions from the video with these from AT. They are very beefy struts and will definitely hold up. Ride quality seems a tab bit better than stock.

Worth the $$$$
I've had the shocks installed for roughly 2 years. I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with the performance. I drive roughly 50% of my drive time off road, and I like the ability to change the rebound. As for on pavement, they are still a bit rough but they are a major upgrade to the factory shocks.

Shock Piston Boots
I installed these a couple of years ago when I replaced the shocks. Inexpensive and a must to cover the piston rod in my opinion. Good quality and durable. They have lasted extremely well.
