Mixed feelings
Overall the running boards look great! Unfortunately, the install instructions are lacking. I've got two problems: first I had to stop during installation, go to the hardware store and get a 16mm ratchet socket for the brackets. The instructions don't tell you that you need a 13mm deep pocket & 16mm ratchet sockets. Each bracket has two pieces which have to be assembled with two bolts (six brackets total) before you take them to your truck. Second, because of the two piece bracket construction, the first time you put any weight on the running board, it slightly tilts down to the pavement about a 1/4 inch. It is the slight "play" between the bracket bolts and bolt holes. Because of this, each running board will never be level. I am disappointed the brackets were not a solid one-piece construction. The running boards, after stepping on the boards, seem to be very sturdy and will support a lot of weight. Once you have the right tools and put the brackets together, installation goes very quickly. Also, don't forget to take a wire brush and clean any painted threads on your truck's mounting bolts.

GREAT RUNNING BOARDS REC-TB
Great running boards. Quality is first class, easy to install. The adjustable brackets are real nice for custom heights of the boards. Took about 1 1/2 hours to install taking my time. These really look great on the truck, would recommend Romik brand to anyone who want a top running board for a good price. 2023 GMC 2500HD.

It helps you see in the bed by giving you some extra height. Not so sure it’d help much if the tailgate is down

Great set of Running Boards!
The fit and finish was truly first class. Take the time to download the manufacturer's installation instructions that have more complete information than the photocopied ones included. When loosening the board nuts keep the boards level and snug them up in close proximity of their final position so they don't slide off the ends when moved. I really liked that the main support brackets are Stainless Steel and the plastic washers that install up against the body.

Looks good!
Looks good, seems to be heavy duty, my only issue is that it's not to snug in the hitch receiver, meaning it can wobble a little left to right.
