Noah: Noah from American Trucks here and today, we're taking a close look at these Red Rock Pocket Style Fender Flares for the '21 and newer F-150, excluding the Raptor. These flares are perfect for the F-150 owner who's looking to widen their truck stance and really take advantage of that pocket-style fender flare that sticks far out from the fender.Whether you're just trying to keep mud and road dirt from sandblasting your paint or you're just going for aggressive looks, these fender flares from RedRock are a great option to consider. Now, these, in particular, are black and have a bolt-on look, which I think adds a nice layer of aggressive styling. These guys are UV treated as well, so they won't fade in the hot sun. And they come as a bolt-on set of four, so there's no need to buy anything else to get them on your truck. These also will work great to cover up a wider wheel and tire setup, especially if tire poke is a legality and inspection issue in the area that you live in.These fender flares are constructed from an OEM-grade polypropylene that is UV-treated like I had mentioned before. Now, that means these guys are going to be seriously durable against any larger rocks or debris that fly up at them. A broken fender flare really does not do anything to protect your paint, and buying a quality set is important when considering what a low-quality set could cost you in the long run if your truck gets damaged. One last thing to mention, these do come ready to paint so you can feel free to leave them black or color-match them to whatever color your truck is.Coming in around $350, these flares from RedRock are a relatively inexpensive option in the realm of fender flares. You really can't beat a quality fender flare at this price point, especially for ones that come with a complete kit that has everything you need for the install. Now speaking of install, there will be minor drilling required, but these fender flares utilize the factory mounting points, so there won't be any serious modification necessary to your truck. We're looking at a two-hour install time with a difficulty right at one out of three wrenches. Let's head over to our install bay and take a closer look at installing these flares on our F-150.Man: Tools required for this install include a ratchet, a clip remover tool, a 13-millimeter wrench, a pair of diagonal cutters or scissors, Philips head screwdriver, 7-millimeter socket, T-47 Torx bit, and a couple of microfiber towels. What's up, guys? Today we're installing a set of fender flares on our F-150, so let's get started. Now, before we install our fender flares, we have a few things we have to remove first. On the front, we're gonna be removing the two 7-millimeter bolts that hold our rock guard in. And then as we go along the inner lip of the fender, we have four bolts that are also 7 millimeters that we have to remove. And then on our lower headlight trim, we have two bolts. We only have to remove the top one, that is also a 7-millimeter.So, we'll start with our rock guard. We'll remove those two 7-millimeter bolts with a 7-millimeter socket. And then the only thing holding this in is a little tree clip, so we can just pull back to pop that out. So, now we can remove this top bolt on our lower trim as well as all of the bolts on the inside lip of our fender. Now, these might be a little bit hard to see on camera, but if you just run your finger right across the inner lip, you can find them all very easily. So, we'll take our 7-millimeter socket to get these out. And now using that same 7-millimeter socket, we can remove our last two bolts. And then we can repeat that same process on the other side. So, now we can install our inner fender bracket on the front. Now we have these four holes are going to be lining up to where we took our bolts out on the inner fender, we're gonna be replacing our factory hardware. And then these flat holes, we're gonna be sliding U-clips on. Now we have a straight edge and an edge that pokes out. The side that pokes out is gonna go towards the top.So, we can just take our U-clip and slide it over our hole like that. And then once again, our curved edge is gonna go up. And now we can get our factory bolts and screw in our inner bracket. And then once we have our bolts hand tight, we can grab our 7-millimeter socket to tighten these all down. And then we can repeat that same process on the other side. So, now we can install our hardware into our fender flare. We have a bolt with a flat washer, that's gonna come down from the front. And then on the backside, we have our locking nut. So, now we can drop our bolt with our washer through the front and then on the back, tighten down our nut. And then for our nut, we'll grab a 13-millimeter wrench and then a T-47 Torx bit to tighten this down. And then you can repeat that exact same process for the rest of our spots and for the rest of our fender flares. So, now once we have all of our hardware installed into our fender flares, we can start installing our weather strip. Now, we have a double-sided tape strip in here. So, I just pulled back the corner so that once we put it down and work around, we can just pull out our strip nice and easy. Now once we get to our other edge, we can take a pair of scissors or diagonal cutters and cut off our excess and then we can finish pulling off our double-sided tape and stick everything down. And then once we've got this done on one of our fender flares, we can repeat that same process for the rest of them. So, now we can install our fender flare onto the truck. Now, in all the locations we added those U-clips. We're gonna be installing the Philips head screw that comes with our kit. In the spot here and these two down here, we'll be reinstalling our factory hardware. So, we can get everything lined up and then start installing our screws. Now, once we have our top screw threaded in by hand, we can tighten that up with a short Philips head screwdriver and then we can install our next screw. Now, before we tighten down our second screw, we're gonna have to add our long U-clip for this hole right here. We have a little pad in here so that we don't scratch the paint. And then the side with the curved edge is gonna go towards the back. We'll line that up and then we can tighten that down with our Philips head. Now, we can come back to the backside of our front wheel well and reinstall our two factory 7-millimeter bolts. And then we can grab our 7-millimeter socket to tighten these down. And now we can install our last Philips head screw and our last factory bolt. And then we'll tighten that up with our 7-millimeter socket. And then once we have this side installed, we can do the same thing on the other side. Now, moving on to the rear, we have to remove our rock guard in the front of our rear wheel. That's held in by just another two 7-millimeter bolts. And then in the back, we have one push clip that we have to remove on our rearmost rock guard. So, now we can grab a clip remover tool to pop out the push clip in our rear rock guard. And now on our frontmost rock guard, we can take our 7-millimeter socket to remove our two bolts. And now just like on the front, the only thing left holding this is a clip that we can pull down and pop that out. And then once you're done with this side, you're gonna repeat the same process on the other side. Now moving to the rear, we're gonna have to do the same thing as the front where we add our clips. The only difference on the rear is there's gonna be three instead of one. So, we have our pad that we're gonna put down so we don't scratch our paint. That's gonna go into our clip like that. So, now the flat edge of our clip is gonna be pointed down, the side with the kinked edge is gonna go up. So, then we'll just slide our pad into place, and then we can pop our clip on. And we'll do the same thing for our other two. They're gonna go about here and here. You don't have to be exactly perfect because you can adjust this before we put on our fender flare. So, now we can install our fender flare and then we're gonna be using those same Philips head screws that are included in our kit to go up through the U-clips that we installed. So, now we can install our three screws. Now, on the backside of our fender liner, we can install our two tree clips. Now lastly, on the front side, we can reinstall our two factory 7-millimeter bolts. And then we'll take our 7-millimeter socket to tighten these down. And then we can repeat that same process on the other side. So, that'll wrap up this review and install of the RedRock Pocket Style Fender Flares for your 2021 and newer F-150, excluding the Raptor. Pay attention to video and years it is for
3 stars only because of installation issues. I would not have purchased these had I realized the installation video was only for 2021-2023 Ford F-150's. The video looked like it would be a piece of cake. Well my 2024 Ford F-150 doesn't have the same number of factory screws as the 2021-2023. Plus the installation instructions were not much help. Appears there may be some drilling involved for me to get these on. Much more than I wanted to tackle and be comfortable doing. I had very similar fender flares on my 2020 F-150 and thought they looked great. I have no doubt once I am able to get them installed they will look great on my truck. Please pay attention to the video model years.

Flares
A little more difficult to instal than expected and too delicate in that they will easily scratch…. ??. Other than that, they look great once installation is completed.

They look and fit great
Overall I really like them Had a bit if a hard time until I realized that the fender clips holes were too small to let the screws start. Once I opened up the hole a bit with a bit of effort on all the once it worked and went on fine. Thus I wasted a long time and almost took off the wheels until I figured it out.

Fender Flare 23 F150
Product was great, condition and all however figment wasn’t exact specifically the clips that clamp on the fender firewall. I had to drill into fender firewall and bolt on. This is primarily on the rear install, there isn’t enough metal body for the clips to hold on. I think only an 1/8 of inch for top portion of the fender flare. Other than that, front mounted fine and looks good, first day driving and everyone loves the look with the black flares.

Great addition to the truck.
These look sharp on my truck. I am grateful for the video installation guide because the print directions were very hard to follow. The time to install…well that’s another story. I am not a truck mechanic nor do I play one on TV (ha). It took roughly 4 hours for me to put on the fenders. This was a new process to me, so I probably took longer than I should. The weather stripping went on pretty easy. It took some time to properly line up the screws. I believe that if I had to do it again, it would not take as long

Great bang for the buck
Great look and quality feeling materials. Fits perfectly on my F 150 Lariat. Factory instructions could be better but a quick online search brought up a few great videos that made it a breeze to install. ????
